Inmaculada Amor
Palencia, 1978
Inmaculada Amor (Palencia, 1978) is a Spanish sculptor whose early contact with art began in her father’s metal forging workshop, where she learned to work with iron and discovered its versatility for both everyday objects and artistic creation. She holds a degree in Art History and specialized in sculpture and jewelry, fields she integrates cohesively within her artistic practice.
Closely connected to artistic creation from a young age, she began producing her own works at sixteen, initially working with iron and later incorporating other materials. Her work is distinguished by iron sculptures and a body of contemporary jewelry made from unconventional materials. Her pieces are inspired by the forces of nature - such as wind, waves, and clouds - as well as by existential concepts translated into refined geometric forms. Amor’s works engage subtly with space, creating open compositions that invite personal and subjective interpretation.
