César Blay (Valencia, 1978) is a Spanish photographer and graphic designer whose work blends narrative, imagination, and visual exploration. Living in a small Mediterranean town, Blay invents his own stories and characters, developing a personal and poetic approach to photography.
Trained in Graphic Arts, Advertising Graphic Design, Photography, and Web Design, he has worked in advertising agencies and as a freelance designer. Since 2007, he has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. He was selected for PhotoEspaña “Descubrimientos 2013” and won competitions such as Ciudad de Alcalá 2015 in the Author Photography category. He is currently part of the Contemporaneous Photographers Collective, with publications in books and fanzines, and has also collaborated with Eñe magazine.
His work is noted for its intimate and narrative visual language, combining technical skill, creativity, and aesthetic sensitivity.
