Valencia, 1978
The artist César Blay lives in a small and quiet Mediterranean town where fortunately nothing ever happens. For that reason, the photographer has to invent stories and look for his own characters. Senior Technician in Advertising Graphic Design, born in Gandía (Valencia). He studied Graphic Arts at FP de Beniarjó, and later, Advertising Graphic Design at the Barreira school in Valencia. Likewise, he trained as a photographer at the CEV school in Madrid and as a web designer in Valencia. He has worked for advertising companies and as freelance designer.
Since 2007 he began to hold photography and illustration exhibitions, both individual and collective at the Castellón Fine Arts Museum, Alicante Photo Festival, Alcobendas Arts Center, Segovia Foto Festival and Gandía Polytechnic University, among others. He was also selected in PhotoEspaña ""Discoveries 2013"" and winner of contests such as “Ciudad de Alcalá 2015”, in the Author Photography category. He is currently part of the Collective of Photographers “Contemporáneos” which they have published a book with La Fábrica publishing house and edited Fanzines. He has also published with Eñe magazine.
