Montserrat Casacuberta (Barcelona, 1959) is a Spanish artist and painter with a long‑standing practice in painting and printmaking. She began her artistic career at an early age, attending workshops before studying at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona, where she earned her degree in painting in 1984.
Alongside her artistic work, Casacuberta has had a sustained teaching career at institutions such as Escola Lavínia, IADE, and the BAU Centre Universitari de Disseny in Barcelona, blending educational practice with creative production. She exhibits regularly in galleries throughout Spain and has contributed to public art projects, including the painting of the AVE viaduct in Sant Joan Despí (2015).
Her visual language encompasses painting and graphic work addressing landscapes, still‑life and everyday subjects with sensitivity and compositional balance.
