Madrid, 1948
The artistic and professional curriculum of Paco Lagares has been configured and defined in two clearly marked ways in the activity that he carries out in the Fine Arts. One, from the plastic creation as such: drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics and work and another, for the creation developed in the performing arts: artistic direction, scenography, setting, lighting, costumes, makeup or characterizations; these activities, of visual creation, where the elements that are combined or act are: space, light, time or life.
In the visual arts, Paco Lagares has held 24 individual exhibitions (from 1973 to 2015) and participated in 151 group exhibitions (from 1970 to 2015), outside and in Spain. In the performing arts, the theatrical works and shows in which he has worked (from 1967 to 2007), have been represented with relevant participation. Lagares has been Professor of Drawing at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University of Madrid, and currently, he is Professor of Drawing at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Granada.
