Art show "Cómplices"
Cómplices
From 9 7 2021 to 11 13 2021
"Cómplices" is an exhibition that seeks coexistence between different disciplines through figurative art and, especially, through portraiture. Far from referring to a classical and formal figure style, the artists in this exhibition seek a personal language through painting and sculpture, showing us the evolution of the figuration of our time.
The presence of these faces charged with emotions invites us to understand art as a tool for transformation and construction of identities, not only of the artists but also of those who are projected, giving the works an intimate and close character. Possibly the looks are the common component of the works in the exhibition that give personality to each piece, generating tensions and dialogues between them and betraying their personalities. Be it the humurous caracters by Samuel Salcedo, the intense portraits of José Ramón Lozano or the melancholic faces of Lantomo, each piece is a mirror and materialization of the world around us. A human and personal exhibition, capable of transmitting and bringing us closer to each other, making us accomplices of their gazes.
