"Gazes to the South" is an artistic investigation into how light and color shape ways of understanding the world. The South appears here not as a fixed place, but as an experience: a way of seeing, feeling, and remembering. The southern light—intense, direct, ever-changing—transforms space into vibration; color ceases to be a mere resource and becomes a language.

The project brings together painting, woodcuts, screen prints, drawings, and poetic text as a spectrum of expressions that respond to one another. Each technique proposes a distinct way of articulating: painting expands and breathes; printmaking condenses and preserves memory; drawing sustains structure; words open an intimate territory.
