Amadeo Gabino (Valencia, 1922 - Madrid, 2004) was a prominent Spanish painter, sculptor, and printmaker. He began his artistic journey assisting his father in the sculpture workshop and completed his studies in Fine Arts in Valencia, as well as in several international cities, including Rome, Paris, Hamburg, and New York.

His work, characterized by an abstract and constructivist language, combines metal objects, collages, and three-dimensional structures, exploring form, space, and material. He represented Spain at the Venice Biennales of 1956 and 1966 and exhibited in Spain and Germany. In 1998, his monumental sculpture “Homenaje a Anton Bruckner” was inaugurated in Linz, Austria. Among his recognitions are the Alfons Roig Prize (1998), the National Printmaking Prize, the Ibero-American International Biennale (1980), the National Industrial Design Prize of Valencia (1980), the Grand Prize at the 10th Milan Triennale (1954), and the Grand Prize at the Ibero-American Biennale of Havana (1953).

His work combines constructive rigor, formal innovation, and aesthetic sensitivity, establishing him as one of the leading figures of Spanish abstract art in the 20th century.
