Czili
Taiwán, 1964
Born in Keelung (Taiwan) in 1964, she moved to Madrid in 1982. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid, specializing in Sculpture, and has also studied Photography at EFTI and Fashion Design and Patternmaking at Kroom Moda.
She has collaborated with Els Comediants in the performing arts, served as president of the Taiwanese Students Association and the Taiwan Festival in Spain, and curated several cultural projects between Taiwan and Spain. She is currently a board member of the sculptors’ association Mínimo Tamaño Grande.
Her work explores the harmony between form and emptiness, blending her Eastern heritage with Western concepts in a dialogue of opposites - fluid and static, active and passive, balanced and oscillating - inspired by the philosophy of Yin and Yang. Since 2012, she has devoted herself professionally to art.
