about Borja Barrajón
Madrid, 1985
Borja Barrajón began his training as a sculptor at the Complutense University of Madrid. He creates and develops abstract works in which he investigates the space they generate, pushing the material itself to its limits. His artistic production gives rise to pieces in which the sensorial becomes a fundamental part of the creative process.
Among the outstanding prizes that the sculptor from Madrid has won is the International Urban Sculpture Competition of the City of Pamplona in 2023, through which he was able to inaugurate the sculptural ensemble '1423'. In the same year he was awarded the Cosentino III International Sculpture Competition CAPA in Madrid. Currently, his work also forms part of different collections, museums and town halls in different parts of the peninsula.
