Christo Vladimirov Javacheff (1935-2020), known as Christo, was a Bulgarian artist associated with Land Art. He mainly used fabrics to wrap man-made installations and structures of nature. His wife Jeanne-Claude and most important collaborator helped him carry out his art. His works can be found in several museums, galleries and centres: the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Nationalgalerie in Berlin, the Würth La Rioja Museum in La Rioja, the Tate Modern in London, the Pompidou Center in Paris and the MoMA in New York.
