Javier Mariscal (Valencia, 1950) is a Spanish designer, illustrator, and multidisciplinary artist internationally renowned for his colorful, playful, and expressive style. His work spans graphic design, illustration, furniture, animation, and urban art, highlighting the creation of iconic characters and his ability to combine art, design, and visual communication.
Among his most famous works is the creation of Cobi, the mascot for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, as well as numerous illustration and design projects for magazines, books, and public spaces. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide, earning him multiple awards and establishing him as a central figure in contemporary Spanish design and illustration.
