about Leticia Felgueroso
The photographer Leticia Felgueroso graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid in the specialty of Sculpture and Photography. Leticia Felgueroso began her work in the 80s (time of the “movida madrileña”) as a photography assistant to the artists Ouka Leele and Ana Laura Aláez. During this stage she made multiple publications in the press and album covers with some record companies.
Her work can be found in numerous Spanish embassies around the world. She has carried out commissions for entities such as Ifema, the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum or the Madrid City Council. In addition to her artwork, she does graphic editing. Photography, as an extension of the perception that we assume as part of our personal experience of the known, turns upside down under the gaze of the artist. Her work is based on urban scenes with an attractive color scheme that make us imagine a different city.
