Valencia, 1965
Antonio de Felipe (Valencia, 1965) is one of the most prominent figures in contemporary Spanish Pop Art, known for his colorful and ironic reinterpretations of popular culture and art history. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Valencia and worked for several years in advertising, a background that shaped his bold visual language.
His work is organized in thematic series that combine icons from advertising, cinema, sports, and classical art with contemporary visual culture. He reimagines familiar images - such as film stars, logos, and cultural symbols - with humor, critique, and strong visual impact.
Over more than three decades, he has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Spain and abroad, and his work is included in major public and private collections, establishing him as a key figure in Spanish Pop Art.
