Eva Poyato (Cartagena, 1972) is a Spanish visual artist who studied Fine Arts at the University of San Carlos in Valencia and holds a Master’s in Graphic Work from the International Center for Contemporary Print (Betanzos, A Coruña). Throughout her career, she has attended workshops with prominent printmakers and developed a body of work that includes painting, drawing, sculpture, and installations, characterized by sensitivity, poetic storytelling, and the transformation of everyday materials into symbolic elements.
In addition to her artistic production, Poyato has taught and coordinated printmaking workshops and seminars and participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Spain and internationally. She has received grants from the ESTAMPA art fair and completed artistic residencies at institutions such as the Kloster Bentlage Art Centre (Germany) and Casa Falconieri (Sardinia). Her work has been recognized in national and international competitions and exhibited in Spain, Italy, Germany, the United States, and China.
