about Leticia Felgueroso
Madrid, 1963
Leticia Felgueroso is a contemporary Spanish photographer whose work offers a distinctive perspective on urban environments and architecture. Trained in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, she has developed her artistic practice since the 1980s, building a solid and internationally recognized career in contemporary photography.
Her visual language is defined by an expressive use of color and light, transforming everyday urban scenes into compositions of strong poetic and emotional impact. Through a highly recognizable aesthetic, Felgueroso reinterprets urban reality, giving it a painterly dimension where the real and the imagined coexist in balance.
The artist has participated in numerous international exhibitions and art fairs, and her work is included in important public and private collections. Her practice stands at the intersection between contemporary photography and painting, creating images that invite a slow, sensory contemplation of urban space.
