about Carlos Albert
Madrid, 1978
Graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid, Carlos Albert develops works that explore the harmony between empty and occupied space, seeking a dynamic balance that transcends traditional geometry. His sculptures, primarily made of wrought iron and corten steel, often incorporate subtle planes of color that enhance the perception of volume and light. Their open and fluid forms engage in a dialogue with the surrounding environment, inviting the viewer to explore the space around them.
His work combines compositional rigor and geometric clarity with a sensitivity that transforms form into an emotional language, capable of establishing a direct dialogue with its surroundings and the viewer.
Carlos Albert’s work has been exhibited in major galleries and international art fairs, and his sculptures are part of collections in cities such as Madrid, Santander, Salamanca, Segovia, Palencia, Cádiz, and Melilla, as well as in international institutions in Miami (USA) and Havana (Cuba).
