Carmen García Suárez (León, 1966) is a prominent Spanish artist and printmaker specializing in engraving and printmaking techniques. She studied at the Menéndez Pelayo International University in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and at the School of Arts and Crafts in León, developing a strong career in graphic arts from an early age.
Her work combines technical rigor and aesthetic sensitivity, exploring memory, visual narrative, and expression through printmaking.
Carmen García has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, illustrated artists’ books, and taken part in competitions and awards, including the Third Prize for Bibliophilia for Best Published Book granted by the Spanish Ministry of Culture in 2007.
Her work is considered a benchmark in contemporary Spanish printmaking.
